"There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature--the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter." -Rachel Carson
So true, my friend. Even though the thermostat outside reported 38.7 this morning, I know spring is just around the corner. Possibly because the spring equinox falls as early as March 19th and as late as March 21st, but more likely because daylight saving time is giving me those much needed, precious "extra" hours of daylight after a long winter. It could also be due to the flowering quince, the blooming tulip trees, the star magnolias, the fresh buds of the yellow jasmine. Who knows? I will roll out the red carpet. Let me be the first to welcome you back, O Spring!
